My Gift is My Story
A group of Watford based Dancers aged between 50 – 86 years have just embarked on a project based at Watford Museum titled Dance Re:Ignite.
They worked with BEEE Creative and professional choreographers, story teller and Musician to create a five minute dance and community workshop. The tour took them across Watford venues, performing the dance and then leading a workshop for the audience.
They visited venues such as The Peace Hospice, Golden Memories group, Cathartic , Dyson Court, West Herts College, Amanartis and Tremona Care home.
Based on the Dancer’s life stories ‘My Gift Is My Story’ has spread joy and activity across a wide range of local groups. With further funding applications being submitted, there is no sign of this wonderful work stopping!
